The 100th Jersey Eisteddfod
The Centenary Year of the Jersey Eisteddfod was celebrated in 2008, one hundred years after its inception by Dean Falle in 1908.
It was not possible to hold a festival every year between those two dates. Two world wars and, more recently, the coronavirus epidemic gave rise to some fallow years.
Taking this into account, is was calculated that 2025 was the actual 100th Festival Year and the event was celebrated by way of a Vin d’Honneur held at Government House on 26 June 2025

Display boards chronicled all aspects and years of the Jersey Eisteddfod. Magnificent trophies were on display. Guests included many wonderful volunteers, whose help and support over the years is vital to the Eisteddfod and very much appreciated. There were musical interludes, speeches and floral arrangements by members of the Floral Art Section.
